We have organised various networking events over the years. One evening in January 2006 we held a Launch Party at the Wallace Collection, by the kind permission of the Trustees. To this we invited sponsors, friends and supporters from over the years as well as women who we thought were Women of Achievement who should be nominated.

We have met at Brands Hatch and discussed how the winners might draw on their combined talents of experience, drive and enthusiasm to help and inspire other women to achieve their full potential. Octagon Motorsports sponsored the exhilarating Brands Hatch venue and Ford Racing provided the thrilling conclusion to the day.

At the German Embassy 2007
Ambassador Ischinger and his wife, Jutta Falke-Ischinger, hosted a reception on 15 May in advance of the 17 th European Women of Achievement Awards. Each year, the Embassy of the country holding the EU Presidency welcomes the Award nominees and organisers to its Residence. Among the nominees in attendance were Kelly Hoppen, Geraldine Norman, Jocelyn Hay and Kanya King.

We have also held seminars at the Cranfield School of Management and at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Warwick which was by the kind invitation of the Ford Motor company. IBM too have generously hosted networking events for the winners.
